Blue agate (chalcedony/quartz) was first discovered in the deserts of the Kalahari in 1994. Lace agate is a variety that exhibits a lace-like pattern with forms such as eyes, swirls, bands or zigzags. It is commonly used in carvings and jewellery.
As a healing stone blue lace is one of the key stones for releasing blockages of the throat and is considered the peaceful communication stone.
