Jackie Deane-Couture formerly raised in Blenheim, has been a ceramic artist since 1999 making pottery in her studio located in Chatham-Kent. She is a Maker of functional pottery vessels using wheel thrown and hand building methods.
Typically, her pieces are inspired by nature’s forms, textures and colours. Using her graphic arts background, she has been experimenting with simpler forms and bright colours.
She also currently teaches hand building pottery at CK Cultural Centre of the Arts.
